| Ingredients | 3/4 Stick Butter 1/2 Cup Flour 1/2 Cup Sugar 1 tsp Baking Powder Pinch of Salt 1/2 Cup Milk 1 Can Pie Filling (your choice) |
| Instructions | Preheat oven to 400*. Place butter in 8x8 glass baking dish. Microwave until butter is melted; about a minute, then in 15 second intervals until done. In medium mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and whisk until mixed well. Add milk and whisk until there are no lumps. Pour mixture evenly into dish. Do not stir. Spoon pie filling evenly into dish. Do not stir. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. |

Cake: Preheat oven at 350*. Sift together in an 8×8 pan the dry ingredients. Make three holes in mixture. Put 6 tbsp. cooking oil in one, 1 tsp. vanilla in second, and 1 tbsp. vinegar in third. Pour 1 cup cold water over all. Stir with fork. Bake for 30 minutes. While still hot, add your favorite frosting. Eat warm with a tall glass of milk! | |

| Ingredients | 3 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour, sifted 2 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder 1/2 teaspoons Salt 1 cup Butter or Margarine, softened 1 1/2 cups Sugar 2 eggs 3 teaspoons Vanilla |
| Instructions | Preheat oven to 400*. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Slowly add sifted dry ingredients, blending thoroughly. Pinch off small pieces of dough and roll then between your palms to make balls about 1-inch in diameter. Place apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Press balls of dough down until they are about 1/4-inch thick. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges are golden. Transfer to wire racks to cool. |
